UPDATE!
Dr. Boone has reviewed the fact sheets provided by the Interstitial Cystitis Association and recommends them for more information on Interstitial Cystitis (IC) and related conditions.
Interstitial Cystitis Association Fact Sheets
Premature Ejaculation
This occurs in nearly all men at some time during their sexual life. It is common among newly active males and decreases with sexual maturity and experience. There is no medication that is FDA approved for premature ejaculation.
The class of drugs known as SSRIs have been used “off label” to prolong ejaculation. Dr. Boone frequently prescribes Prozac, Paxil, or Zoloft for use two hours prior to intercourse or on a daily basis if intercourse is frequent.
For more information, see WebMD.
(IC) Interstitial Cystitis Patients
An article came out in the March 2008 edition of UROLOGY, demonstrating that in interstitial cystitis patients, "pain worsened with certain foods or drinks and/or worsened with bladder filling or improved with bladder emptying." If you have these symptoms, you could have IC.
